An intimate House of 434 happy hour in Seattle during the Tasveer Film Festival & Market, bringing together founders, investors, operators, creators, and media innovators around AI and the future of storytelling.
Origin
House of 434 is named after Shilpi's first home: 434 Bayview.
It was where possibility began to feel real — a place filled with ambition, uncertainty, optimism, and the belief that a better future could be built.
House of 434 is an extension of that idea: a room for thoughtful people, honest conversations, and the relationships that shape what comes next.
House of 434 is a long-term community around the ideas, people, and questions we care about — how AI reshapes work, ownership, and company-building. It's built to last: a room that outlives any single project, and grows through the people in it.
What we explore
How intelligence is changing work, services, software, and physical systems — and the new companies being built across all of them.
Who gets to participate in the value created by the next generation of technology.
Why builders, executives, and domain experts are becoming investors, angels, and company creators.
Where vertical markets, frontier technology, capital, and company-building are heading.
Gatherings
House of 434 creates and enables intimate dinners, salons, roundtables, and larger gatherings across cities.

Field notes
The most interesting capital in the next decade may come from the people who built the last one.
The room
Smart people thinking out loud, without performance or posture. The kind of conversation that stays with you for a week.
Operators, investors, and researchers in the same room, speaking the same language about what's actually changing in their work.
Small rooms with the right people, organized around real questions rather than networking. Quiet by design.
The Brief
A periodic note on AI, ownership, venture, vertical markets, and the people shaping what comes next.
Who it's for
House of 434 brings together people with different backgrounds but a shared orientation: curiosity, ambition, judgment, and a desire to understand what comes next.
